Good Rides, Cold Days

I’ve come to the conclusion that if on a regular basis you do not feel the overwhelming contrition that you are weak, God is great, and even the most common aspects of his beautiful creation are more than enough to kill you: You need to get out more.
We all do. It does a great deal to help place unseen things in perspective. For instance: In my daily modern routine of life, work and blessings I rarely am faced with the absolute reality of my own frailty, but given one half hour of basic exercise out in 15 degree weather, even prepared; I am aware of it completely. We should be able to agree that we, as human, are creatures of habitual comfort. You think not? You need to get out more. We are certainly missing a great deal of physical description of God’s attributes if we don’t.

So last week alone here are four things that gave me the above mentioned assurance;
1. Cold
2. Wind
3. Simple Exercise on Bicycle
4. Average but nonetheless Beautiful Country

I try to remind myself of this truth as often as I can. I encourage you to as well.

CRUCIAL Information

Sucking down an OJ Smoothie

Say HELLO to my new favorite online store:

CRUCIAL SUPPLEMENTS

Matthew & Crystal Wheeler have unveiled a new website selling ONLY the supplements you REALLY need. [catchphrase]

So, the rundown-

Product: Mens health supplements (i.e. protein, creatin, vitamins, etc.) Brand: Optimum Nutrition (ON) Price: Oustanding!

For a good comparison, check out GNC’s website, where I originally went to buy whey protein and left with only a Clif Bar. The container size shown on GNC’s site is 5.5lbs whereas CS’s is 2lbs, but you do the math.

Below is a recipe for one of Lincoln & Mine’s (we developed it’s secret greatness together) favorite smoothie blends:

OJ Smoothie

1 cup of your favorite orange juice

1 12oz. container full of ice

1 heaping scoop of vanilla whey protein

Mix in blender for approximately 20-30 seconds, or until ice is well blended.

That’s it! Lincoln helps me make and drink them all the time. Here is a picture Christina took of us on Lincoln’s birthday this year.

Lincoln says 'Push, push!'
