A New Day, A New Month

Before  starting, we want to wish Danny a “Happy Birthday”! Hope you enjoy your day.

The first of September has brought a beautiful day; at least I think so. It’s dark, rainy and lovely. Yes the warm sunshine is nice but the rain is very welcome after the scorcher of a summer we’ve had this year. The first thing Lincoln noticed after he woke up was that it was raining. He put on Grandpa’s hat and asked for the umbrella. No matter what, he’s always ready to be outside. Many times Michael and I have talked about how Lincoln could easily live outside. The only reason he comes in is because we ask (force) him to.

“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.”  –Psalm 18:1-3

Now I urge you to go read the rest of Psalm 18.

I want to be outside!
