Prayer

“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” -Psalm 145:18

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” -Romans 8:26

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” -Hebrews 4:16

To start the week I ask all to take time to pray for friends and family. God is working in many ways and sometimes all we can do is be in prayer. We lead such fast pace lives that we often don’t take time to “be still”. So pray. Let your prayers be the most intimate conversations you have with God, as Francis Chan puts it.

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.” -James 5:13

My prayer for your beautiful family of 3:
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.”
    Ephesians 1:17-18
