  • Favorite actor: Cary Grant, favorite actress: Elizabeth Taylor (1940-1960′s version)
  • I might be a little bit stubborn
  • Dark, rainy & cool days are better than bright & hot days in my opinion
  • I have a huge fear of spiders yet I kill at least 5 a day…in my own house
  • The color black is my absolute favorite in everything; I think it’s timeless
  • Francis Chan has become my new favorite author. Please go check out “Crazy Love” and “Forgotten God”…now
  • I love sweat pants!
  • My mom’s chicken enchiladas are the very best as is her fried chicken. Yum
  • My sister is beyond talented in the art department. Yes, you are Briana…I know she’s shaking her head right now
  • Guatemala. That’s all I need to say, it’s a favorite of mine
  • I love my husband tremendously
  • Antique stores are the best. I love thinking “who enjoyed this oh so long ago?”
  • I am NOT a morning person; therefore coffee is a critical need

This is the Life…

“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

On the cross, for our sin, bloody and beaten:  ”And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34

We also know that Jesus was raised from the dead.

“See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” Luke 24:39

“While He blessed them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.” Luke 24:51

It is because of this Life that we are here…me typing and you reading. We are living because of the grace of God. I hope the “wow” factor has flipped a switch in you. It’s amazing.

Why is it that women often tend to not approve of pictures of themselves?
Right?
No, just kidding-that’s too general. Let me start again.
Christina never approves of pictures of herself so I will have to remove this post; inevitably.
The weather was beautiful today: it brought in a short rainstorm that is cooling us down. We had a family picnic out in the yard. Try to post pics of Lincoln tomorrow.
