What’s Lincoln Been Up To?
It’s been busy in our household lately. Whether it’s celebrating a holiday that frankly I don’t understand the necessity of or getting caught up on housework, the days just seem to be over before they begin. Now, there has been some down-time Lincoln spent “working” or bicycling with daddy and going on walks with mommy.
Whenever it’s busy like it has been, I find it easy coming up with excuses for not being in Scripture. During these times I feel myself getting frustrated easier and losing patience faster. There really is a peace that comes with being in the Word…daily. Isaiah 26:3-4 “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Yes, life gets busy and I pray that myself along with all loved ones can read the breath of God to find peace amid chaos. 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteouness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
